What Could Be Easier?: Trager® Principles for Massage Therapists

In this enlightening class, you will be given the opportunity to explore the principles of The Trager Approach, which translate beautifully to any form of bodywork. The Trager Approach was the discovery of Milton Trager, MD as he encountered its simple principles at the age of 18, and spent the next 70 years expanding and refining his work. Through the use of gentle non-intrusive rocking, elongating and softly coaxing movements, the client is able to recall feelings of playfulness and freedom perhaps not felt since childhood. To experience feelings such as these at a tissue level, rather than intellectually, can be powerful and transformational. In an intimate classroom setting, participants will practice and learn to analyze patterns of tension, explore the value of free, easy movement and assist ourselves and our “client” to move more comfortably. There will also be some demonstration time, and lots of opportunity for questions. You will take with you some incredible new tools for further exploration. This workshop fulfills a prerequisite for anyone interested in entering the Trager® Certification Training. What Could Be Easier? Trager® Principles for Massage Therapists is led by Bill Scholl .

The Face and the Head: Trager® Principles to Remove the Mask

The Myopractic Deep Muscle Therapy System

Myopractic is a complete system for achieving deep relaxation and freedom from chronic pain. The Myopractic System combines deep muscle therapy to remove tension and restrictions from soft tissue and techniques for identifying and correcting postural imbalances. Myopractic has it s roots in structural integration which have been updated to allow therapists the utmost flexibility in working with their clients. Use Myopractic for a full-body relaxation massage, for spot therapy of injury or pain, and even for complete posture rebalancing. Myopractic includes extremely effective techniques for muscle therapy- releasing fascial adhesions, clearing trigger points, and encouraging the joints to move freely. The most innovative aspect of Myopractic deep muscle therapy is that it is designed to be virtually pain-free for both clients and therapists because techniques are applied with the therapist's hands and body relaxed. The therapist uses his/her body weight, rather than muscle strength or pushing, to penetrate deeply into the client's muscles. The Myopractic Therapy System is offered in six foundational courses which we will be taught twice this year. These Myopractic classes may be taken as a discounted series or may be taken individually.

RMT , MTI instructs all Myopractic Deep Muscle Therapy Systems.
